Hi,
After Today's update (emerge -uDN world) I have strange fonts instead of old, good looking one - in kmail and in Opera.
Any suggestion? |

You could start by checking what was updated with and post the latest update that were done on your system. |

Make sure the fontconfig cache files are OK:
Fontconfig 2.10.2 is OK, I don't see a reason to downgrade to 2.9.0 |

Anyway - something happed, and any website in any browser (Opera, Chromium, Firefox, Konqueror) looks awful now. Maybe there are different anti-aliasing settings? Downgrading fotnconfig did not change anything.
Update
After many probes I think is related to anti-aliasing.
Apart KDE windows and system, everything is bad. Even fonts in konsole looks bad. |
