http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/showthread.php/146566-Build-to-Fail-Fail-to-Build.-What-is-this-I-don-t-even.....

Pretty damned insane shed construction, with funny commentary, even a time-lapse video. Also much later in the thread are some pretty good (and pretty bad) photoshopped images.

I laughed hard many times, though others might enjoy.

I'm surprised I couldn't find any threads here in fgo/OTW already about this . . . (I'm probably just not finding it)

The much less annoying way to see most of the pics.

(Thanks Muso for the link which I found this other link off of)

I wonder how common this kind of construction is within rural areas where people make do with what they have. Kinda feel sorry for the guy (because he'll have to take it down, obviously put time and effort into it, and may well be fined).

No, you didn't. I'm referring to where there are no regulations.

That would be Mars then. There's always regulations.

The preponderance of shanty towns would suggest otherwise. At the very least, regulations are unenforced (which effectively means they don't exist).

I'm not going to click on every link in this thread to find out what happened to the shed.

I cheated and went to the end. They still think it's funny after 50+ pages, plus they like to spam other sites with links to that thread. I also think that most of the population of that forum is possibly related by marriage.

*edit* The shed still stands.

I didn't mention a location. But there are dilapidated houses in the south (probably elsewhere as well, but I'm not specifically aware of them).

Who are you to complain? You're the one who routinely creates entirely new threads with nothing but a link: no courtesy summary or excerpt or anything.

Poorly-built shacks are much more common just about anywhere outside of the U.S. and Western/Northern Europe. There are entire sections of cities in South America, Asia, and Africa that are pretty much nothing but shacks, many built a lot worse than this one.

What's funny about this one is the apparent haplessness of the person building it. He seems to have no conceptual grasp of simple mechanics -- something most people have by instinct by the time they are a teenager, and he seems to be very much without practical "handiness" (common sense about how to go about something).

They're links from BBC and not an obscure forum.

Clicking on the link give you all the details you need and besides the link is a verification of the event reported in the thread title. One may choose to read it but much of the information is already conveyed by the title itself. Unlike here, which I thought was a new video game, porno movie, sci-fi novel. I'm interested in only one of the three things, it could've been.
