I feel like I keep running in circles here...

Anyway, I've spent the past hour trying to get this to work, from remerging things to configuring xorg, and I've gotten nothing to work. Everything is as it should be, and I cannot for the live of me get this working.

I'm still new to gentoo, so I'm not specifically sure how to get my info and post it here, so please help a newb out.

Usually for new installations, you would use the event driver (EVDEV) to configure your mouse and keyboard. This requires the xf86 driver
evdev to be loaded. This should be the case: Look at your /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see if this is loading.

If this is not loading properly, likely your kernel was not configured properly. You'll need the input devices set up properly during kernel build, and set for the event driver interface.

What am I supposed to be advocating?

Well, it looks like things are partly working: If I use a external keyboard and mouse, it works just fine, the ones on the laptop though cease to work after startx.

EDIT: Actually erm.....the keyboard DOES work on the laptop, and so does the mouse....partially. I can click with it, but can't move it with the laptop....

Yeah, though I think I got it fixed, forgot to add mouse in USE in make.conf

Anyway, I only need to fix one more thing: Getting my monitor to work with my laptop. So far I've installed xrandr (And also arandr for gui use), and I don't think my VGA output is being recognized, because xrandr -q is only listing my laptop screen, which is listed as Screen 0

Also there is 3 Monitor, Device, and Screen sections in my xorg file, is that normal?

Maybe,you need making a change in your kernel configuration to support evdev.
Device Drivers --->
Input device support --->
<*> Event interface

And add
INPUT_DEVICES="evdev synaptics" ## synaptics for touchpad support
in /etc/portage/mak.conf
