Hello pros!
I've got an old box with some bad memory... Can I pass the memmap kernel option to a minimal install cd boot command?

Load cd... at boot prompt...

gentoo memmap=20M$760M

I think that would work but to be sure, check the Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt for that kernel version and make sure it's still listed as an option. On the version I'm looking at, it's still here.
