I recently this week installed Gentoo Kernel 3.7.10 and I noticed today in my US-Certs Bulletin from 3/25/2013 lists "cpe:/o:linux:linux_kernel:3.7.10" says it is vulnerable as a newbee to Gentoo and just getting back into the Linux after a very long time. Is this update necessary? Also I will be attempting to use this as a DNS, DHCP and LDAP server.

Should I also emerge the suggested dhcp-4.2.4_p2 as outlined in the GLSA 201301-06 if i am going to use this as a DNS server? _________________ Newbee 12 |
