Hey all,
When installing chrome, it encountered a fetch error from dl.google.com so, I tried again -- same thing. I tried on my windows 7 laptop by going to the website - it worked. Is there any way to fix this, or is the site just down for maintenance?
Best,

Sounds like a problem in wget. You can download the file however are able you want and put in /usr/portage/distfiles. This will even work from windows 7. You just need to use a usb to transfer the file.
A possible culprit may be ipv6. I have experienced problems where wget tries to use ipv6 and fails. You can test this by using wget -4 <url> which will download the file to the current directory. If that is the cause simply building wget with -ipv6 will solve the problem. _________________ First things first, but not necessarily in that order.
Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box. |
