It's a miniseries on History Channel, and it's excellent and not Christianity-promoting but just a retelling of the Bible's story, with a more historically accurate and agnostic flavor than most "Bible" movies (while also trying carefully not to offend anybody and being as politically correct as necessary).
Here's a photo of the alleged Obama-Satan. 
Obama fappers are whining that it's an intentional propaganda attack, while right wingers are laughing their balls off because liberal-leaning History Channel fucked the dog.

The miniseries set Twitter aflame Sunday night because the actor playing the devil looks like the president might in several years. Obama's critics jested about the resemblance, while his supporters wondered if the casting was intended as propaganda.
"This is utter nonsense," Burnett and Downey said in a statement Monday. "The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor. He has previously played parts in several Biblical epics -- including Satanic characters long before Barack Obama was elected as our President."
History also said the resemblance was not intentional.
"History channel has the highest respect for President Obama. The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors," the network said. "It's unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History's 'The Bible' is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history."
Two years ago, History found itself in the midst of another political dispute when it decided not to air the miniseries "The Kennedys" because of allegations from the left that it had a right-wing slant.
And last year, HBO's "Game of Thrones" came under criticism when its executive producers said in a DVD commentary that a fake head of President George W. Bush was impaled on a spike in one scene.
"The Bible" has been a huge hit for History, drawing 13.1 million for its first episode and 10.8 million for its second. |

Or what about Noah? He freaking murdered EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET just because he felt like a do-over!
Kind of understandable, though. God had tried to be nice, but it didn't work. First there was the slut in the garden of Eden, and we know what happened there. Then he gave Abraham a chance to find ten hospitable, compassionate, monogamous, heterosexual men in Sodom and Gomorrah (before he nuked them with meteorites), but he couldn't find but one good family, and two of his angles almost got ass-raped trying. So that was the end of that!
I think maybe he just lost patience and god bored, probably moved on to doing other things, like putting rings around Saturn or whatever, and that's when Satan stepped in. Now Satan's back.

God said to men, "Ye are Gods", according to some guy named Asaph, who was King David's music director (the author of 12 psalms which became part of Hebrew Law and the Old Testament, and is now Psalm 82:6 in the Bible.
Of course, properly interpreted in context and from the oldest texts, what God is really saying there is "You people in power are treating the poor and unfortunate like shit! You should be acting like Gods, like I told you to, because like Gods, you know the difference between right and wrong!"
This was referenced, in a bullshit-desperate and out-of-context way, by Jesus (according to John 10:34), when he was being hounded by a bunch of pissed off Jews who were about to stone him for running around claiming to be the Son of God, he saved his own ass at the last second by saying, "Doesn't your own law say 'I have said Ye are Gods'?"
Anyway, seems to me that if we're all Gods, we're all Devils too, for the same reasons. Although I think it's fair to say some of have more Devil in them than others.
