Hello!
I noticed that I have two make.conf files:

!!! Found 2 make.conf files, using both '/etc/make.conf' and '/etc/portage/make.conf' |
I think mirrorselect created the second one in /etc, is it safe to delete that one? Or what to do?

Check the contents of them. Migrate everything important to /etc/portage/make.conf and then delete /etc/make.conf. It should no longer be in use.

Also upgrade to mirrorselect-2.2.0-r1. It will properly handle /etc/portage/make.conf.
I am about to call for it to be stabilized.

In the one file in /etc there were only Gentoo mirrors.
Will upgrade Mirrorselect.
