I've tried emergeing lyx a few times now, always with the same result.
This is after an emerge --clean rsync, emerge --update world, and emerge clean.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated
It gets a minute or so into the install, then chokes like so:
Code: |
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../src -I./../ -I../.. -I../.. -I../../boost -I/usr/X11R6/include -isystem /usr/X11R6/include -O2 -mcpu=i686 -march=i686 -fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer -funroll-loops -frerun-cse-after-loop -frerun-loop-opt -malign-functions=4 -c lstrings.C -Wp,-MD,.deps/lstrings.TPlo

I had this problem too, yesterday. However, last night I did
#emerge --clean rsync
followed by
#emerge -p -u world
and there was a new ebuild for lyx listed
#emerge -u lyx
was a success this time. It might not work for you but it fixed my problem
cheers,
