what 'spurious claims'? That your 'glorious' revolution was only started because of the needs of rich smugglers and slave owners?
Doesn't matter. No where in your constitution is a passus that allows one to own more than one gun. Or assault rifles.

Except for the 2nd amendment (it says arms, not arm, or shall not be infringed except for assault rifles),.

People only have two arms normally. I doubt the founding fathers had Wal-Mart style gun shops in mind when they talked about the right to hold weapons in one's arms. But, like everything, revisionist history is always more popular, otherwise Shakespeare would be more relevant to ordinary people. |

The Constitution is a limit on what the government can do, not on what the people can do.
You'd be as likely to find permission to have a dog in a car rental contract.
