Hi,
I tried to clone an existing gentoo install by booting in a third/different enviroment, mounting both the source and the target partitions and perform a

Code:

cp /source/* /target

It works and boots up to the point where gnome should be started. That fails exhibiting a blank screen and the gnome sandclock mouse pointer.
I tried a re-install of nvidia-drivers and similar things to no avail. Did I miss the obvious somewhere?
