We should do a White House Petition

OTW should start a White House petition.

What are some good ideas?

I think a good one would be that sandwiches shall be henceforth called "sandbitches". Rationale, "sandwich" is lame, and we should have a good name for something everybody eats so many of.

we should do a petition that actually matters...

like petitioning obama to hold a press conference himself admit that we're all special and we all deserve free* healthcare, free* housing, and free* jack daniels.

* free just means free to me... someone else has to pay for it, because i'm special. he just said so.

Their paid-for lobby group (the tea party) will just wither away giving republicanism a chance to recover from its loony tendencies.

You do realise President Colin Powell could have been starting his second term right now...? But no: you just couldn't resist the onanistic thrill of rabid, dumbass extremism.

Easy, Kool-Aid Boy. I don't think the Obama Administration needs any encouragement in the department of assassinating citizens or heightened authoritarianism.

You sound like Nancy Pelosi sputtering and blustering about "ZOMG teh Astro Turf", right before she lost her Speakership. Instead, why not have a Celebrity Death Match: the Koch Bros vs Soros & Bloomberg?

There was a brilliant addendum someone drafted consisting of only a few or a handful of lines (I forget what it as for). Something like that should be sufficient.
