Anyone can vote. Therefor I believe a test should be required for holding office. Oh, and combine it with runoff voting.

I find it sweet that the democrats allow mentally handicapped mouth breathers to have so many seats of power. Joe Biden's our first retarded VP. See? The democrats are for IQ diversity (as long as those IQ's are between 40 and 90).

oh please. republicans brain cell is overheated from the overwork as well.
incidentally, in the UK, it was found that people making our budgets don't know basic maths.
They were asked the question: What is the probability that when flipped a coin twice, you get two heads (not rocket science people. I can only think of one easier probability question i.e. you flip the coin once). Quite shocking. The funny part of the survey was that they were also asked how comfortable they are with numbers, and an equally shocking number said yes.
it's clear from the video, that they just see numbers and have no clue. million, billion, whatever. |

It's a manufactured crisis. It's Obama's doing to begin with. He's the one who created it to begin with. And it's not the big scary deal Obama an his minions are making it out to be.
He just wants to create a truism that spending cuts will hurt the economy, and he's succeeding. To some extent, spending cuts will happen, and if that truism is allowed to stand, then Obama will be in a position to blame Republicans for hurting the economy (and he badly wants to be able to deflect blame for his failed recovery).
Fiscal conservatives (Libertarians, Republicans, and Blue Dog Democrat) need to spend more time communicating why the cuts are beneficial for Americans. They have allowed Obama to knock them almost completely off message with all this fear-mongering and doom-saying. There is a reason it was agreed to reduce the deficit (and this is not even a serious beginning at moving toward a balanced budget).

The government is the best fear monger. They are complaining about cutting $80 billion from the budget. $80 billion? Are you kidding me? The yearly budget is over $3 Trillion, with an annual deficit of over $1 Trillion and they act as though planes will fall from the sky, millions will die of decease and the moon will spin out of its orbit if the budget is cut.
Everyone always claims how businesses are greedy. What's more greedy than a government with $16 Trillion in debt complaining about cutting a budget by $80 billion. |
