| Do you see potential in a codec that is lossless, but that can also be decoded by Opus? It would work by storing the lossless deltas in the Opus padding area. It would hypothetically be playable on all existing Opus decoders. But you would need the special decoder for a lossless decode. |

| That's partly the point. There isn't a lossless codec that's playable on a wide array of devices. When I look at the parties backing Opus, I see it easily rivaling AAC in terms of support. |
