When he's correct, he's correct. The GOP is working on reminiscing with the Whigs about the good ole days.

Sounds like you listen to sound-bites and the non-thinkers of the media.

I can't tell you how awful I feel to think that republicans could be out of power until the 2020's.

Depends on how you define correct. If sexist, racist, misogynistic, pro-life, homophobic views are correct, then he's your man. Thinker or non-thinker I don't subscribe to those views.

Yep, you definitely pay too much attention to non-thinkers. He's not sexist, racist or misogynistic. He is pro-life. I don't know if he is homophobic, but he does have opinions which I'm sure you consider homophobic (regardless if it is true).

Not really. They are totally different which is why I used them as examples of different views held by the guy.

He might not be, but his on-air persona most certainly is. I have no idea what the guy is like in his personal life, but the views expressed on his show are certainly extreme.

And yet Elton John played at his wedding. If he were actually an anti-gay crusader, that could not have happened.

No, it isn't. You obviously do not listen to him. You get fed propaganda that you foolishly agree with regarding Rush. Stop doing that. You're smart enough to form your own opinions... so listen to him on your own, and think.

To be fair, Limbaugh does throw out quite a bit of bait for the left. Granted, they end up looking stupid when they bite, but he still throws it out there. Consider "Barack the Magic Negro."

Which was a parody song based on the L.A. Times Democrat Leftie who wrote an Op-Ed using that theme.

Song is here

Yes. We have similar "shock jocks" here, mostly on the radio. They have a rant about immigration, or gay marriage, or criminals living in imprisoned luxury...then the phones ring. The callers that agree are given air-time, the ones that don't are insulted, muted and cut off. Rinse with a commercial and repeat.

I agree with the description of the repubs engaging in a circular firing squad in so much as it indicates their inability to effectively get their message across.

to me, their insistence of munging economic conservationism and social conservatism is their present day down fall. if Obama indicates any one thing, to me its that with the majority of USian citizens social issues trump economic issues. I'd even argue that mainstream repubs aren't even economically conservatism, so their social stances are that much more prevalent.

this thread indicates the issue with mixing these two major areas also. the repubs won representative seats ( state and federal level ) based on local oriented economic issues but lost the presidency on social issues. to me this makes sense ( but i'm just a dude watching a curcus ).

democrats are dickholes too, just saying.

What examples do you have of him being sexist? And for reference, I believe it is biologically and scientifically demonstrable that there ARE differences between the sexes, regardless of what ignorant militant feminazis want to claim.
