Hi, I have just upgraded kde to 4.10 and I did hit 2 problems
1 is system tray (already discussed elsewhere)
2. is kmix - It does start but it does not see audio channels (none at all), alsamixer in the console does work fine, so I would expect a problem in the first one.
Hardware is HP Probook 6465b, emerge --info:

But it seems unrelated.
Does anyone have an idea how to debug it?
Kmix did tend to misbehave in prior versions - but not to this extent (it did see 2 soundcards for example and first one had no channels or just IECsomething, but the second one had all that was there to expect and volume control did work).
