when you build robots you need mechanics, electronics and computer science... _________________ "I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? Uhuh.
You need mechanical engineers, electronic engineers and computer engineers. That's three fairly specialised fields. |

yes but there are many universities that offer robotics as master programs for computer science- electricalengineer- and mechanicalengineers- students. So you need to know all three fields... _________________ "I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? Cars and robots are not really the same, unless you count Transformers. I don't. |

What would have Steve Jobs said about steering wheels?
"We've invented a brand new system for directing a car. It is sensitive to touch and for optimum usage, our designers have come up with this innovative new shape. We call it Intuitive Vehicle Control System." _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

I think Steve Jobs didn't know Knight Rider, but maybe he watched sex and the city.. _________________ "I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? Sounds like yet more stuff to distract people from concentrating on the road. More buttons, more displays, more money, less sense. |

to answer the question:
no
reasons:
as an Apple product it would have been completely overpriced.
The design would have been slick and appealing to the hippster and Starbucks folks.
and:
it would have some hidden fatal flaws that would turn it into a death trap. Like exploding if turning left at 120 km/h. Or exploding if you hit the breaks in the rain. Also the radio would be tuned to 'Itunes Radio Station'. You would be unable to turn it off or change the station and with every song played 99c would be deducted from you bank account. Oh - and it would be disney approved music. Like Miley Cirus. Britney Spears. The Bieber. Justin Timberlake. And related atrocities and war crimes. _________________

It would also have no gearshift and only one pedal: you push with your toe to go forward, with your heel for reverse, and with your whole foot for brakes. The pedal would be all-white and ergonomically shaped. Millions would say, "How ingenious!", and then have all kinds of accidents trying to use it. Logitech would make hundreds of millions of dollars selling replacement pedal systems that work the old way. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.
