Phil Mickelson doesn't like paying a ~63% tax rate, and had to back out of a business deal as a result of state tax increases.
Tiger Woods understands, and moved from CA to FL in '96 for the same reason.
Rickie Fowler understands too, but doesn't have the problem because he already lives in FL.
Apparently a LOT of athletes live in FL.
And there are recruiters making the rounds in CA to lure companies away. One moved here and claimed being able to buy a building for the cost of one month's rent in CA. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

| That doesn't surprise me. Property value in the Bay Area is insane. One of my friends pays $700 each month for a tiny bedroom. I pay $600 each month for my own damn apartment. |

Florida is a nice place, too. Granted, I've never been to CA, so I can't say which is nicer. _________________ Kali Ma

If I could afford to live in CA, I would (or will). Somewhere between where I'm at and the 63% seems like a narrow window of opportunity. _________________ lolgov.
