add dvd 10-sec rewind?

I have some dvds where my remote btn for the 10-second rewind function doesn't do anything (puts up a crossed circle on the tv screen like "can't do that"). since the 10s rew works with all my other dvds I figured there must be some internal dvd cmd I can add? using ifoedit maybe, then reburn it?

does anyone know what that functionality is called, or if it can even be done? is it something in the ifo file that needs to be added?
