Funny, horror. Not a spoof or lowblow comedy. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

A British-German horror/comedy. Hopefully the Brits did the comedy part and the Germans did the horror part.

It's discourteous. You're saying, "my not having to make ten extra keystrokes is more valuable than everybody who clicks on this link being sent to the wrong site, and having to hunt for the correct site and then click on the link". _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

I'm sorry I'm being discourteous. I'll have properly formated links next time. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

You are a gentleman and a scholar.
Edit: Oh, now that I actually read the information at the link, I've seen this movie.
It wasn't bad, except I do recall it being filled with stupid cliche's that would appeal to Northwest European or North American urbanite "knowledge workers" (i.e., entry-level yuppies): managers are stupid, pretty girls sleep their way to the top, druggies are hapless, arms manufacturers deserve a fate worse than death, Eastern European people are creepy and have skeletons in the closet from Communism, women can actually fight and handle life-threatening situations better than men, etc.)
I also recall it being a bit slow-moving at times and somewhat inept at managing the viewer's fear level, but it did have a somewhat credible and unusual back-story, it had characters I could identify with, and it was sufficiently humorous and gory in a few places to be entertaining.
It's also one of those films where you're saying, "Oh my god, they're so stupid! Why don't they just do x, y, x?!", or, "No, idiot! You don't eat a 'meat pie' you just happen to find laying around in an old abandoned mental hospital!" It requires some Coleridgian "willing suspension of disbelief". I did watch the whole thing, although I have a vague recollection of feeling just a bit robbed of my time at the end. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

No, that is not the impression I got. Yes, the manager was stupid. But the speech he gave later on at the dinner table, the guy finding the pie etc was a laugh riot. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |

I have forgotten most of it. I remember it being entertaining but a little "off", like they didn't spend enough on editing, to get the comic and fear-building timing right. _________________ Oldthinkers unbellyfeel INGSOC.

Watch it again. It was funny and scary and a 90min movie, which was quite quick paced. _________________ What looks like a cat, flies like a bat, brays like a donkey, and plays like a monkey? |
