I installed the Gentoo in a Raspberry pi computer without any problem. But, when I tried to install the Midori browser on raspberry pi the installation failed.
The problem is not the browser but the webkit-gtk, one of the components that I have to emerge.
The message is always the same:
make: execvp: /bin/sh: Argument list too long
I tried to fix the problem with the suggestions that I found on the Gentoo Bugzilla, but nothing work.
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300867
I'm using the crossdev with distcc to compile the webkit-gtk.
If someone can help I would be grateful thanks. |

You could try building without distcc. However, webkit will take very long on the Raspberry Pi to compile. Another option would be increasing your kernel's argv+env limit: fs/exec.c: | if (size > rlim[RLIMIT_STACK].rlim_cur / 4) { | (Replace the divisor here with something smaller.)
Until you find something that helps, you can install a different lightweight browser such as netsurf. |
