hello, gentoo... i'm usually pretty good about taking care of myself but everything i try seems to not work
config_eth0="192.168.1.42 netmask 255.255.255.0"
routes_eth0="default via 192.168.0.1"
dns_servers_eth0="192.168.15.1"
config_xenbr0="192.168.100.1 netmask 255.255.255.0"
bridge_xenbr0="eth0"
here's my /etc/conf.d/net. i can't even get the static ip to work. when i try to ping google it just hangs and waits and says nothing after i issue the command, which is better, i guess, than an unresolved host, but still.
any help for a baby ducky? |

Don't configure an IP for eth0. If you need two subnets, give both to xenbr0. _________________ Death by snoo-snoo! |
