Hi,
I´m totally new to gentoo... Now I´m playing with portage and some packets to find out the system configuration which fits best to me.
Incidentally, thanks to those guys who wrote all these very good documentations.
So now I got the problem not to know how to purge configuration files of software I already unmerged. Except of manually delete them or by remerging them and run:
| Code: | | CONFIG_PROTECT="" emerge -C package |
found at: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-489222-start-0.html
Now my question:
Is there any handy way to purge configuration files of packages which are not longer installed?
Thanks in advance for your replies. |
