Hi *,
I have installed gentoo as a guest in a vmware. I use a genkernel 3.5.7. I have installed the official vmware tools manually (not via the portage package). That allowed :
- drag and drop
- window autofit to host
- copy and paste clipboard sharing
but I could not get the time synchronisation with the host machine working. So I decided to test open-vm-tools 2012.10.14.874563. I have uninstalled the official vmware tools first and than used

It build just fine after I accepted the packages in portage.keywords. Now I have perfect time synchronisation to the host but lost the functionalities
- drag and drop
- wind autofit
- clipboard sharing with host
I checked /etc/conf.d/vmware-tools and drag and drop is enabled. Is there something else I need to start or enable before I get these features working?
