Installing Gentoo

In my xorg log I have the following

Code:

(EE) Error loading keymap /var/lib/xkb/server-0.xkm
(EE) XKB: Failed to load keymap. Loading default keymap instead.

I have just emerged xorg-server and xterm, I am able to start X however my keyboard configuration file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d does not execute properly as described above.

What is the problem here? Are some keymaps missing? Or do they exist but fail to load? If they are missing, how can they be installed?

I had a bad keyboard configuration file, the issue has been resolved (I removed a bad XkbVariant statement).
