Hello all,
When configuring RAID-4/RAID-5/RAID-6 RAID support in the kernel, how risky is it to enable the multicore processing? It's marked as experimental in 3.6.11, and some quick searching online showed a potential system lockup/data read corruption issue, but this was on an older kernel in 2010.
Does (EXPERIMENTAL) mean "stay away, I'm dangerous!", or "try it, I dare ya!"?
Thank you! |
