When I boot this image I get corruption errors regarding firmware.tar.gz. When I attempt to install, nano just segfaults with no other messages.
Not sure what to think. I checked the *.iso file and it says it passes the checksum. Just to be sure I burned the CD twice, and still get this error when booting. From what I can see it's impossible to install with this disk. |

Please do not double post.
Your problem is exactly the same one as the other thread you posted in. The solution is posted twice, first by cach0rr0 and second by John R. Graham, namely to use a different install disk.

Forgive the double post. That post referred to the x64 version, so I wanted to be sure people were aware the problem also existed with the x86 version.
That being said, I began the install by simply using chroot from my Slackware partition. It's all going smoothly now. |
