It seems Former Vice President Al Gore has sold his soul.

Unless of course you consider his television network such a loser that selling it will cause irreparable harm to the buyers.

Apparently Glenn Beck's company wanted to buy it, and Al refused. So IMO, that was nothing more than Al's refusal to admit defeat. An argument could be made he sold his soul if he let Beck buy it. Al Jazeera? Seems like a natural fit. Oh, and he had a TV network? No wonder it failed.

Al Jazeera isn't bad. It provides an contrary view that people in the west don't want to hear.

IIRC, Al Jazeera and BBC had similar views while reporting the second Iraq war.

Regardless of whether Al Jazeera is bad or not, it is indeed a coup for a former VP of USA to sell his company to it.

IMO it isn't a coup at all. I see nothing surprising about Al being associated with Jazeera.

He refused to sell to GB because he didn't like Beck's values. He then sells to an oil Sheikdom.

Any way this is painted makes Gore look like an even bigger hypocrite and asshole then we knew him to be.

Nice. And it also rhymes with "anus".

Janus? The god of transition into the future with an eye towards the past? I'll wager Al Gore thinks you are right.

Is the defining characteristic that Janus has two faces?

They may have shared the same personnel during that period.
