With the recent update to udev, it is not posible to run kernels below 2.6.39 version.
What is the recommended/sanest way to run those from now on?
Is eudev a sane choice? If so, should it be in the future?
Is downgrading udev a sane choice? I guess older versions will dissapear from portage some day.
Is there any other recommended path?
I personally use openvz kernels, which are based on 2.6.32 kernel.
Thank you in advance for some information or advice on this regard. |
