Every time I boot my Raspberry Pi, I wind up having to:
| Code: | | chmod 777 /dev/vchiq |
This is necessary to get omxplayer to work properly. Is there a way to have this done upon boot somehow? _________________ Sadhu Sundar Singh - responding to Darwinian Evolution - "...but I am more interested in Divine Selection and survival of the unfit" |

The easiest way would be via /etc/conf.d/local, although I'm afraid the proper way leads via udev. _________________ lxg.de – codebits and tech talk |

That's kinda what I was thinking, I'm not an expert on udev settings, but I would prefer to use it if there was a way. _________________ Sadhu Sundar Singh - responding to Darwinian Evolution - "...but I am more interested in Divine Selection and survival of the unfit" |
