Kmymoney, Konqueror, etc can't seem to see the Internet. Other apps (Firefox, etc) are fine.

I usually don't use KDE software to access the Internet, so it may have been this way for a while. My computer's been on for 4 months, and in that time I've updated several packages - including an upgrade of several KDE libraries from 4.8.4 to 4.9.3. I've not yet logged out since that upgrade. Is this just a case of restarting a service?

I don't run KDE as my WM/DE, BTW. I just use some of its apps.

Solved by killing all existing KDE related processes.
