hello community,
i hope i am in the right forum with my questions.
i am playing world of warcraft (wow) on my gentoo desktop system within wine. it runs perfect and stable.
actually for listening the game sound i am using a head set. that is what i want to change
in my home network i have another gentoo box with a asus xonar essence stx connected to my amplifier (good old hk 620).
to this box i would like to forward the game sound from wow.
i have not much experience with audio, so here are my questions.
how can i forward sound from my gaming box to my box connected to my hk 620?
is it possible to use vlc to do this (i do not like pulse)?
someone has already done this and has some tips what i have to do?
best regards
