its funny to see MS being self-deprecating and it shows they understand their image ( in relation to IE ).
IE def does suck less, with each new version but its a hamster wheel of suckitude.
IE7 blew so when IE8 came out it was a godsend! but IE7 was a bazillion times better then IE6.
then IE9 came out and it made IE8 look like a pile of junk.
ditto for IE10. so it gets marginally better with each release and i hope they continue the trend and don't fall back into their old habits of web browser baloney spewing. |

i have found IE-10 works much faster than any current browser in windows 7 and 8
just could not believe the speed at which yahoo mail came up the first time i tred with windows 7 with ie-9
they offer a trial ie-10 for wndows 7 now. _________________ reach out a little bit more to catch it (DON'T BELIEVE the advocate part under my user name) |

The discussion of IE evolution to not suck, and the ad content are two different discussions, and I can see discussing both, just be clear of the subject when you type. No one has been ambiguous yet, but you can see what I'm getting at.
I've always been the type of person who, once burned by a software package, typically never uses it again. I have a host of software packages that meet this criteria:
- Any Norton software
- KDE
- AVG Enterprise management (they do fine on a desktop, but man did they screw the pooch on an enterprise level)
- IE
- etc.
This is an interesting ad in that they almost acknowledge the fact that the browser sucks... or at the very least a lot of elitist computer nerds (notice the beast-like setup of the guys computer) state that IE sucks.
But an ad is just an ad.... we'll see where the browser speed and comparability go from here. _________________ Sadhu Sundar Singh - responding to Darwinian Evolution - "...but I am more interested in Divine Selection and survival of the unfit" |

wow, IE10 best browser on Win8 tablets!
with like...2% marketshare that is great!
And fastest browser on windows - of course, Microsoft would never intentionally slow down other browsers to make IE look good. Like they did not add a check to make windows3 crashy when it detected dr-dos... _________________

Congrats to MS for the approach, but I expected more. Maybe because of the "coffee" setup.
Once IE added tabs, it was a much more usable browser. For me, Opera remains the worst of the majors. Chrome is the one-button mouse of browsers (or is that fixed and unique to Chromium?). _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

Where have we been, this is comedic gold. It's also very telling of how Microsoft sees the other side of the tracks. _________________ Sadhu Sundar Singh - responding to Darwinian Evolution - "...but I am more interested in Divine Selection and survival of the unfit" |
