hi,
According to this page in the gentoo-wiki:
http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/X.Org/Transparency
I've enabled xcompmgr and it works with everything execpt shadows around windows. I've read that this is a bug in xcompmgr 1.1.6. Is this fixed already?
If not is there any alternative to xcompmgr? I've seen that compiz is masked by portage and deprecated... |

I've installed compton through a overlay and it works quite well with shadows... (I also wanted to try cairo-compmgr but I didn't because compton works)
from the low "reader-numbers" and no response I guess you either use KDE/Gnome eyecandy or don't care about eyecandy at all |
