Ultra 60 boot error, kernel 3.5.7

Hi, I'm trying to boot a Linux kernel compiled from gentoo-sources-3.5.7 on my Ultra 60, but this is the error I get at the silo boot prompt:

Booting the previous stable kernel (3.3.8) works fine. Both kernel images are in /boot/ on /dev/sda1 (ext4). I don't know if it's just this kernel version or if I'm running into some limitation with silo/ext4/something else.
