They're not very good over here (UK) in my opinion. The iron lady stripped
them of any power that they had (good thing too) - they tend to serve themselves
in the long run.

The union and management certainly played a direct role, and so did the investors, who failed to recognize the problem or hire management who could fix it, and now they're all fucked. The employees and management have lost their jobs, and the investors have lost their capital.
So life is just. Nothing to see here but Karma folks. Move along.

It might have happened next year instead of this year. And once the Obama Recovery is in full swing, they'd have a much easier time of finding new factory jobs.
