I did a world update today, only to find out afterwards that sudo no longer works. Anytime I try using it I get the following:
Code: | sudo: unable to dlopen /usr/lib64/sudo/sudoers.so: (null)
sudo: fatal error, unable to load plugins |
I really have no idea where to even start looking, and it was working fine before running the world update. Any ideas?
Edit: I should point out, I did not notice sudo among the updates, and it seemed to re-emerge fine.
Edit2: I just ran 'equery depends openldap', and that lists sudo as dependent on it. I noticed that openldap apparently got broken and for some reason would not re-emerge during a revdep. Samba is also listed as dependent on it, and that wouldn't update. I have no idea if it's related--just something I noticed.
