|
|
Hi all,
I started making some posters, highlighting Gentoo's nice features. General topic- "Choice included"
http://dilfridge.blogspot.de/2015/01/choice-included.html
Any suggestions what other texts could go in there?
* glibc, uclibc, musl - Choice included
* ...?
Cheers, Andreas

Second choice should be the master of the house... and it might even be the first at all.
* SystemD (this should be first because it's popular, right?) OpenRC [+] (well, maybe this one because it's more saner and was baked in-house, right?) SysVinit, Runit, S6, Daemontools[-encore]... (no idea for Launchd and Upstart, but it should work!) _________________ home/:mkinitramfs-ll/:supervision/:e-gtk-theme/:overlay/ |

All the different WM and DE choices, especially the ones with good detailed guides.

Right, John... along with ALL the functional FileManager.
Forgot a piece of the above sugar...
* ALSA, OSS[4], JACK[alsa,oss], PulseAudio (so we need to mention this... PITA as well, right?), or nothing;

"{++x}END{print x} bloat included"
"category/package[-bloat]"
"All your choice are belong to *you*"
"Got Choice?"
"Got Bloat?"
"Feeling like a christmas turkey?"
"My distribution went to hell and all I got was this stupid choice"
... probably more but Saatchi & Saatchi has me under an NDA :)
best ... khay |

"I'd rather fix Gentoo than run Ubuntu!"
This concept is borrowed from a tee shirt I have that's emblazoned with, "I'd rather push an MG than drive a Triumph."
