k3b, mplayer and ape/wavpack support

Hi everybody,

I just wondered about the following question: If I understand correctly, both k3b and mplayer use the ffmpeg library to decode e.g. ape files. However, while playing ape files with mplayer works flawlessly on my notebook, burning an ape does not work (at least not with the k3b 2.0.2 version, if I use the old kde-3 version together with the ape-plugin that existed at that time, it works). Can anybody explain me, why this is the case or even better if there is a solution to get things running for 3kb as well? (I basically have the same issue with wavpack files).
