I've been trying to get VLC to use skins. Whether I put the skin file in ~/.local/share/vlc/skins2 or /usr/share/vlc/skins2, I get:
| Code: |
VLC media player 2.0.4 Twoflower (revision 2.0.3-289-g6e6100a)
[0x1a8e368] main xml reader error: XML reader not found
[0x1a8daf8] main interface error: XML provider not found
[0x1a8daf8] skins2 interface error: cannot initialize xml
[0x1a8daf8] skins2 interface error: error while parsing /tmp/vltUKbRee/theme.xml
[0x1a8daf8] main interface error: XML provider not found
[0x1a8daf8] skins2 interface error: cannot initialize xml
[0x1a8daf8] skins2 interface error: no skins found : exiting

I'm at a loss, and it seems like #videolan on Freenode doesn't know, either. Anyone know how to make this work? _________________ Gentoo Studio: http://gentoostudio.org
