Have stuck on this for a while now, please help.

My installation die on this same position in the compile, google cant generate useful posts either

I'm having this trouble too, following http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/gentoo-alt/prefix/bootstrap-macos.xml in Code Listing 1.7. No idea what's up, though.

I had the same problem. From this post, it seems that using only a previous release of bash do the trick. Type

emerge --nodeps --oneshot =bash-4.0_p38

instead of

emerge --nodeps --oneshot bash
