anyone? i can't emerge shutter because i get udev and other blocks which are a pain in the ass to deal with. and it is like emergeing 5000 packages!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use x11-apps/xwd as described here.
As I mention there, it's probably the first thing I managed to find that can do exactly what I want...
For the longest time I was puzzled as to how there can not be something that does what I want. —_—
Was incredibly satisfied with xwd... and still am...
