While I was searching informations on polkit configuration, I stumbled upon this post: http://davidz25.blogspot.com/2012/06/authorization-rules-in-polkit.html , and discovered that the main developer is embedding JS interpreter to handle configuration files. For me, it does not seem a sane thing to do.

My current polkit version is 0.104-r1, which does not have this "feature" yet. So the question is:
Will polkit follow this way, and if so, does anybody have a plan to make a fork? If not I might always consider unmerging all *kits.
Not that would not be painful ( as increasingly more and more crucial DE components are depending on *kits), but I am worried about "What Next?".

It was very easy for me to just remove polkit, but then, my desktop is a fairly minimal XFCE 4.8
