| I have a Gentoo KVM guest running on a Gentoo Host. Even though I have the right time zone, the time itself is incorrect. Why is this and how can I fix this? I have hwclock set to local(even though I am not using NTP). |

is the time correct for utc instead of local? vms may desync time same way the host does, so ntp on the vm is not wrong. I don't know if there's a module or setting that would allow the VM to just grab the hosts time.
maybe check this: http://s19n.net/articles/2011/kvm_clock.html |
