Hi,

from here:
http://downloads.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beaglebone/
one can download the newest Angstrom demo file for the Beaglebone.

I followed several times different instructions from the internet describing
the download and/or update Angstrom to my local disk and bulding that
demo images...

But regardless what I doing I always end up a demo image which based
on kernel 3.2.23 while the demo images via the above link are based on
linux kernel 3.2.28.

For downloading I did this:
git clone https://github.com/Angstrom-distribution/setup-scripts.git

For updateing I did this:
MACHINE=beaglebone ./oebb.sh config beaglebone
git pull
MACHINE=beaglebone ./oebb.sh update

For bulding the demo image I did this:
MACHINE=beaglebone ./oebb.sh bitbake systemd-image

Deleting the whole tree and start right from the beginning for
getting an updated version of the source takes a LOT of time
cause it allways download a LOT of stuff.

What is the correct way to update an existing local repository
to reflect the newest state of the software?

Thank youvery much in adavance for any help!

Have a nice weekend! :)

Best regards
mcc
