So, I installed X, openbox as well as SLiM.
I'm running bumblebee so my secondary server, optimus, has to be started as a service. I used rc-update to do this and it appears to start as the system boots
my users .xinitrc has one line
Code:
openbox-session

if I find myself at the console and type startx, everything works fine.
However when I reboot and login with slim, everything is fine until I actually log in, it loads X, but it's just a black screen with a curser. I have to go to another vty and kill X. At that point when I check the status of my secondary server, it's still running, and typing startx loads openbox without a problem.

Does slim ignore .xinitrc? should I be defining openbox somewhere else?
