Hello guys, Today I enabled the hfsplus support. After install the new kenerl Image I was unable to boot my gentoo because of VFS:
Quote: | Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,4) |
removing the hfsplus allows me to boot correctly. Any idea?

BlackBelt,
Try putting hfsplus back into the kernel and adding rootfs=<fstype> to your kernel command line.
<fstype> is the same text as you have for your root filesystem in /etc/fstab.
You could just make hfsplus a module too, so its not loaded until after root is mounted. _________________ Regards,
