I did, and I say again, the man behind the film was a Coptic Christian (of Egyptian origin, no less). You search again.

Does the origin of the person really matter that much? Just curious of possible answers.

Not really, it's just a clue as to the motivation -- the intent -- behind the film. I only reiterated it because he claimed I was wrong.

I think he intended to try to bring conflict to a head, in hopes that this would provoke further Western military intervention in the region, which would improve the prospects of Middle Eastern Christians.

Again, I also think the film was just used as an excuse by the coordinators of these attacks to agitate and involve large numbers of civilian protesters, allowing the terrorists to shield themselves among unarmed mobs.

Something nobody has mentioned yet is that an attack on an embassy is tantamount to an attack on the native soil of a nation. People made a big fapping deal about that when sleep-fucker Assange hid in the Ecuadoran embassy, but here we have well-armed terrorist forces carrying out a coordinated combined-arms attack on a U.S. embassy and literally over-running it and killing the ambassador, and nobody has bothered to mention that this is an egregious violation of sovereign U.S. soil.

Ok, I get it. Come on, bring it on!! I was joking just abit. But I can feel your hurt. The intent of the movie is as you say to show how it works? When it comes to assange, democracy is de-mochery?

[edit] There are one of the 'must have to' add...The bring it on, was ment to be the embassy-confligt....
I hate pronomen and synonymns!

The problem is that some people have it in their head that insults are a fantastic reason to kill people.
Such a notion is poisonous, and such actions should be seen as criminal and morally unjustified.

It's not like I go around killing people every time someone lights up Old Glory.

I think no one should be surprised why someone do something. For me it is very random. 'Insults are a very FANTASTIC reason' ?' Care to explain?
What makes things justified, morally, is when someone makes society a disfavour. That should be punished by a torturer from IRS and a notorious one.

Spell check: Colour - hah!

obviously it is not necessaey to mention this because everybody knows. And everybody is disgusted. Even me, the america hater.

There were times, such an attack would be seen as an act of war. Maybe it is time for some god old Kanonenbootpolitik.
