move the pkg folder to home from /var/db/pkg
and try remerging the file.
if something goes wrong you can put it back from home
for me the error pkgdir error gone but some other troubles still with avahi _________________ reach out a little bit more to catch it (DON'T BELIEVE the advocate part under my user name) |

Thanks for the reply. I've just synced and am doing an emerge world. May be it's just a bug which has been fixed meanwhile. |
