Now this is the Email client I always dreamed of: it _is_ really only doing email.
Get 5 buttons.
Not even an address book (supposed to use Dexter, but hey! Dexter doesn't exist in Gentoo)
It shows nicely it notification in gnome/docky

The definition is:

Postler aims to be easy, simple, clean, beautiful, and automagic. It handles IMAP beautifully, and provides the user with smart, sensible defaults.

But I am afraid in my cas (Gentoo/~amd64), all the IMAP folders remain empty (nothing found to force sync...(I know I did ask for simplicity) ), without her Dexter brother it won't be of much use neither, and I just can not possibly add a second IMAP account.
Well, many issues still...
I guess this is the kind of piece of SW that get gentoo-packaged because it simply *could* be, without being maintained nor tested...nor used (no offense at all here, just loud-thinking)

Thus this topic just to know if someone managed to use this baby under Gentoo...

..I'll definitely stay tuned to its dev. cycle in the hope to see it properly integrated into Gentoo.

It seems to ignore the sending/receiving server when you first create an account. Try setting them a second time.
